An alternative solution would be to do other stuff than mining, and using the ISK earned from those activities to buy the minerals/ores you need. It always is an option if the very act of mining itself is not the goal.

Unless you are planning to refine the ores yourself and do stuff with the minerals, don't value your ores based on mineral worth. Your ore itself should be valued like this: Ore value = Compressed ore price / 100
